How I work

I’m Mikey — a product designer and AI-native builder based in Manchester, UK. I take projects from a blank page to something live: design, code, and the AI wiring in between, all done by the same person. Here’s what that actually looks like in practice.

1. 01

   One person, the whole build.

   I design the interface, write the code, and connect the systems behind it myself — no handoff, so nothing gets lost between the file and what ships.

2. 02

   AI speeds up the work, not the thinking.

   I use AI tools to move faster through exploration and build, but deciding what's actually worth shipping is still on me, not the model.

3. 03

   If it doesn't ship, it doesn't count.

   Every project ends in something real — a live site, a working system, a design system you can keep building on — not a deck.
